This Privacy Policy explains how Just My Trading Thoughts LLC (d/b/a JMT², "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use www.jmtt.ai, app.jmtt.ai, and our mobile app (the "Services").

Your data is yours

Our data practices start from one commitment: the behavioral data you generate on this platform belongs to you, not us. We use your data to deliver and improve the Services. We do not sell it, trade it, or use it to serve third-party advertising. This policy explains exactly what we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email, account credentials (passwords stored in hashed, encrypted form — never in plain text), and country/state of residence.
  • Onboarding and behavioral data: your onboarding questionnaire responses and the patterns you generate as you use the Services (which features you use, session activity, how you engage with content and your journal). This data powers your AURA coaching experience.
  • Billing information: processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers; we retain subscription tier, billing status, and the last four digits of your card for display. Stripe handles payment data under its own terms.
  • Communications: if you contact support, we retain those messages to respond and improve support.
  • Usage and device data: pages/features used, actions taken, IP address, device and browser type, referring URLs, and error logs, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
  • Location (general): we use IP-based location to confirm eligibility (U.S. users) and for security; we do not collect precise geolocation beyond country/state.

What we do NOT collect: Social Security numbers, government IDs, or financial-account numbers; your external brokerage account data, live trade history, or live P&L (no broker connection is built at this stage); medical or health information; biometric data; or any information from anyone under 18.

2. How we use information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Services;
  • Process subscriptions and payments;
  • Deliver and personalize your AURA behavioral coaching based on your own onboarding and behavioral data;
  • Send transactional messages and, with your consent or as permitted, marketing emails (you can unsubscribe anytime — see Section 6);
  • Provide support, prevent fraud, and maintain security;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to serve third-party advertising or allow third parties to use it for their own marketing.

3. How we share information

We share limited information only with service providers who help us run the Services, under contracts that restrict their use of your data to providing services to us:

About the AI coaching engine. AURA uses Anthropic's models to generate your coaching from your in-platform behavioral data. That data is processed under a commercial agreement; model memory is disabled and your data is not used to train Anthropic's models. AURA does not connect to external data sources about you.

We also share information with legal/safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights and safety, and in a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy. If we add broker-connection features in the future, we will update this Policy and obtain separate consent before enabling them.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use minimal tracking: essential session cookies (required for login and operation), functional preference cookies, and lightweight analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels that share your data with ad networks. You can control cookies through your browser; some features may not work without them.

5. Data retention

We retain information only as long as needed: - Active account data: while your account is active; - Inactive account data: up to 3 years after last activity, then deleted or anonymized; - Payment records: 7 years, for tax and accounting; - Communication logs: 2 years; - Anonymized/aggregated data: may be retained indefinitely for product-improvement research.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Access / correction / deletion / portability: you may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, request deletion, or request an export in a machine-readable format by contacting hello@jmtt.ai. We respond to verified requests within 30 days, except where retention is required to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Deleting your account terminates your subscription and forfeits any founding rate.
  • Marketing email: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link; we honor opt-outs (CAN-SPAM compliant). Opting out of marketing does not affect service messages (billing, security, terms updates).
  • California and other states: California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and other states have enacted privacy laws. We honor privacy-rights requests from users in all jurisdictions regardless of whether thresholds for full statutory compliance are met. Contact hello@jmtt.ai.
  • Account: you can update profile information in your account settings.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encryption at rest for personal data, access controls on a need-to-know basis, and security monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly.

9. U.S. only

The Services are intended for users in the United States, and information is processed in the United States. Data-protection laws in the U.S. may differ from those in your home country.

10. Third-party links

The Services may link to third-party websites or resources. This Policy does not apply to those sites; review their privacy policies before use.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy; for material changes we will post the updated policy with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in advance.
